Thank you for the update! It always makes me smile to see you have updated. I know you said you don't want to just use the standard duel monsters...but those are honestly the ones I would most enjoy seeing XD. So interested to know where you will take this next.

I wonder if Yami and Seto will actually push Yugi and Jou to breaking point and then come to regret it more than anything...

That was a very interesting development in the Yami/Yugi relationship. It gives much insight into why Yami acts the way that he does. I'm glad he didn't beat Yugi bloody...I'm not sure I could stand that happening to Yugi. And I hope Jou isn't getting too docile and downtrodden.Thank you for giving some insight into your writing. It is interesting to know. Please keep up the amazing work.

I really like the way you've written the interactions between Yami and Yugi. They have that quick, pointed, sarcastic, and fun to read, yet tension building enough to keep you anxious for the next scene... I thought this chapter was perfect the way you wrote it... whilst i look forward, with great anticipation, to a Yami/Yugi lemon (which may upset Yugi enough, and the fall-out on his end will be interesting), it might have detracted from the point of tension building between them at this point...that Yami thinks he is a god. The amazing thing about this story is I have no idea how you are going to resolve all of this...but I look forward to finding out ;)

Aw poor Yugi...I can't believe Yami hit him. But Jou certainly seems to be settling in! I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

But I am thankful you chose to continue this story. It is lovely. I'm afraid I don't know about the books...? I found this story not too long ago. Are you a published writer? I can't imagine anything that you write being badly written.
I love your characterizations in this story and that short exchange with Yugi and Yami explained so much...especially why Yami comes off as so entitled - he is a god, at least in his own mind.

I personally think that there should be equality in their relationship. And about Yami manipulating and controlling Yugi, he also cares about Harry. Yami hasn't loved anyone before, now if Yugi's mere presence is such a factor of change in his behaviour then I think he too is being affected by Harry. They both are different from others so it (their relationship) somehow works out.

This story is...AMAZING. I long ago gave up any chance of finding quality YuGiOh Stories. I read your note that you have been reading over at AO3 lately. Do you have any recs on there or anywhere else? I love the semi-evil Yami thing you have going :D
