Praying you update this week :)

Just wondering...how far from the end do you think we are? I am both dreading the end of this story and excited to know everything XD

Well I def wasn't expecting that when I read the title 'punishment.' I figured Yami was alive but it was good to have confirmation. Now all we need is for him to swoop in and save Yugi. I expect he wouldn't like a 'broken' Yugi. I hope there isn't too much trouble with Yugi solving the puzzle...

Do you know what I love about this story? I never have any idea what is going to happen. At the beginning of the story I never would have guessed that it would have turned out like this. I thought it was just going to be a simple master/slave dynamic story. Who knew it would be this complex?! You really are an amazing writer. About this last chapter - I am a little surprised by Bakura's seemingly lack of concern for Ryou. But like you always say, nothing is as it seems ;). I was also wondering if you will ever maybe do a flashback of before the Hikaris escaped the first time? Or when they did escape. I know that it was slightly mentioned that they escaped while making camp. But I was wondering if this master/slave relationship was about the same before they escaped? I know Ryou was probably always submissive. But was Yugi more of a partner figure? Or, when Yami start to take over, did he immediately make Yugi a slave? And what was Jou doing? Was he already being kept by Kaiba? Was their motivation for running away that they were slaves or that they didn't agree with Yami's philosophy/taking over the world? Haha sorry for the long comment but this story is so amazing I need to know more. Maybe a prequel or a sequel...? ;) Wishing you the best.

Aw Yugi...he is having such a hard time right now. But I loved that even through the haze of what was going on and after all he went through he remembers that Yami is alive XD

I know Bakura is trying to train Yugi...but it seems a bit intense and weird since he knows Yami is coming back. Is this to help convince Honda that he is on his side? I can't wait to find out :)

Absolutely loved the chapter. Poor Yugi...his first time doing that forced with Bakura. Somehow I think Yami would have been much gentler and persuasive ;). I hope it's not too long until they're reunited. I am a bit confused why Bakura and Ryou aren't able to communicate right now? I know the puzzle was destroyed but Bakura still has the ring... I have never been so excited about Sundays before XD

I just reread your story ('cause I'm an obsessive freak) and it is definitely still as fabulous as the first time. I'm really super excited for the return of Yami and what they'll do (and subsequently Yami's reaction to Bakura's treatment of Yugi)
I've been going under the impression that Yugi will put the puzzle back together but I caught that "in theory" in your A/N. I never know what to expect from you.

Anyways, you're an awesome writer and I am very eager for the next chapter!

Thank you thank you thank you for updating! I thought we would have to wait until next Sunday and I was dying. That scene was amazingly intense. Poor Yugi. Bakura is being quite hard on him considering that Yami is coming back. I am a bit surprised that Bakura is not showing more concern for Ryou...or at least putting in more effort to find him. This really was a phenomenal chapter, completely worth the wait. I hope Yami comes back soon :D.

I find the unspoken relationship dynamic between Bakura and Yami so interesting. While Bakura hesitates to scar Yugi due to Yami's reaction, what he did to Yugi seemed much more intense than something Yami would do or approve of. Likewise, I was very surprised to see Malik take part in it. While he has made it clear that he is not going to help the hikaris to escape (even if they really don't want to anymore) I didn't think he would take advantage of one of them. It was nice to see him watch out for Yugi and make it clear that Marik is not to take him. I was glad to hear that Yami was in fact not dead and am eager to see how Yugi reacts upon being reunited. Thank you for finding the time to update and I am glad you are feeling better.
