LOVE this chapter :D My favourite so far, and the pairing's not exactly one I'm used to either. I really like how you set it back in Ancient Egypt- very clever!

About the Yami/Yugi abusive one that apparently had everyone up in arms...
I just thought I'd step in and say I thought it was amazing. It was different, and dark in ways you NEVER see with that pairing. (Actually, I'd like to make a request for you to do another one like it, but have Ryou find out, or help him, or... something.) I hope that everyone elses view of the pair doesn't keep you from writing another one like it ;)

Well, I was expecting a sex scene, but the sheer sweetness of the angst is totally balancing out my strong feelings for unadulterated sex. Like you said, true, they dunno each other that much, so sex may not be the most wise thing to do.

As much as a fan of lemons as I am, I'm glad you didn't try and force one into this story because, you're right, it would have been too rushed.

I always check out your new chapter, even if I dislike/hate the pairing. Sorry didn't read it. But there is another reason I faithfully check out your new chapters. Authors Notes, Reviews, and Review Replies. And one caught my interest, something about Cody_Thomas(a person after my own heart), ice cream, and above all Yugi/Bakura. Ummmmmm Delicious! I know you could do it justice, after all aren't you the one who put Bakura in soft pink, fluffy, handcuffs. If your just gonna write one last request, please make it Codys.

OMG, I couldn't help crying after reading this... Boo hoo hoo...Even though I'm a fan of YamixYugi, this still breaks my heart every time I read an angst between RyouxYugi/Yami. Keep up the good work! Congrats on the 200 reviews, although I'm not the 200th, but still...
