Well I like this story... and as for the rating... it's most likely someone who doesn't like it rating it 0 over and over again...

I don't think your rating should go down! I think it's just a few spelling mistakes and grammar notes that people are picking up on. Please send your story to me and I'll be quite happy to check it through. Keep it up please!!! (Have some more cake)!!

Hey! Nice story! Yes you should absolutely ignore the ratings. They aren't reliable at all to judge a story, neither is the review count I've discovered. However there are many many typos and grammer mistakes and spelling errors. Do you have a Beta yet? Or a friend to preread them at home? If you do you might want to change to someone else since too many are slipping through at the moment. If you don't have anyone, there are forums at mediaminer and a catagory here I belive to find one. I'm also available if you ever need someone to preread something last minute or long term. The spelling errors are probably what's bugging most people because to some/most it's distracting and makes the writing seem of less than high quality. This story though it has a way to often used plot is well written and can easily be fixed up with a few proof reads and a Beta. But fixing them is a must since it is a large problem that is completely correctable and it won't make you go out of your way to much. On the plus side many great writers couldn't spell 'author' to save their life and it has nothing to do with your creativity or overall talent.
Remember to fix the problems and update soon! It really is a wonderful story that I would like to see continued.
Thank You.
