Sorry I haven't reviewed. I've been typing away on my own and had no time to read anything. I guess this is the first MaixJou fic that I've ever enjoyed. I liked how you weren't as descriptive of the sex this time. Whether it was done on purpose or not, I liked the way it was so much more about their emotions and thoughts rather than physical pleasure. You really kept them in character from what I have seen of the show. I've only seen one episode with this soul stealing Dartz person or whatever. Even from that one episode, I was able to see how much Mai really cares for Joey. What I'm saying is, it wasn't strange for her to love him when he wasn't her ideal guy. I know you tried, but I didn't think the OC was important to the story flow. This is only and opinion as you know. Anywho, I love this story and I look forward to your future stories. Maybe you've got a KaibaxJou fic waiting to happen.

Well, I'm glad I could be so helpful! ^_^ Once again, another wonderful chapter. I also liked this new lemon more then the last one. The ending is slightly confusing however. I can't tell if the story is going to continue from this point, or if this was supposed to be the ending. In any case, I hope to read more of your works, be it more of this story, or another story that you may have written. If you plan on writing other stories, please let me know, so I can add your link in the Author Directory to my Favorites list. Some thing that I don't do very often.

^^ Goooood chapter. Sex in dining room - oddly classy and dirty at the same time (and I just loved the way Pegasus forgave Mai, but said he never wanted to see her again XD) I'm also pleased with how fast you update - you're better than me *Looks sheepish* Anyway, good job!

OMG! Honestly, this is a great story! I always look for Jou/Mai couples and I'm so glad I found this one! This is great. I love the characterization and the descriptions. Very well done. I look forward to more!

this was funny and great, there are not many joey/mai stories like yours. I have stories at the original Fanfiction.net (Pen name: charizardag) that are yugioh too, only crossovers with other cartoons, Check them out and reveiw them (if you like, I hope you will).

I loved this chapter!

Especially Kaiba, and how Mai kissed Jou in front of everyone. LOL. I can so picture Kaiba's face, hehehe

And I think it's great that you let her save jou but also let her point out that she knows he doesn't need protection. That was the perfect mix.
I almost thought she'd go for "I wasn't worried about you getting hurt... I was worried about them" ^_~

And the two of them having sex on Kaiba's dining table????? Ok, now that is mean. Tell him at least, so he doesn't have to sit there not knowing it... Poor guy.
Hey, you could actually make this a joke in the next chapter... letting Jou make some comment just before leaving or so... nothing distinct, but enough to let Kaiba know, loooool

Yeah... so, i really loved this chapter... also because Jou feels it's more than just sex... and to some degree Mai seems to feel it too. that's sweet. ^-^

Well, I can't say that I found that to be much of a lemon, but it is a good story. I've got it bookmarked, and as I do with all of my B/Med stories (atleast the ones that aren't complete), I check on it almost daily. Please update it soon, ok?

Well, it wasn't exactly what I like in terms of lemons, but I really do enjoy this story. I envy you. Like you, the first fic that I posted on this site is one with a somewhat unpopular pairing, if only for the most part because I think that no one was really expecting it. Also like you, I've seem to have recieved good praise for my story, and to date, I've only recieved on flame. Thankfully though, the person who flamed me was a little more mature than the person who flamed you, if only for the fact that their grammer was correct. However, unlike you, I will not be responding to the flame as maturelly as you have. This is for two reasons really. One is because when someone insults me, it goes against my personality to not retaliate. The second is becuase the person was stupid enough to post under the name of the character that one of the characters in the pairing ended up with in the actual series. This signifies to me that the person who wrote the flame couldn't care less about the quality of the story, and is only angry about the fact that I did something original and didn't go with the norm. In a way, our flamers are kind of the same. However, because you have the maturity to actually respond in a dignified manner, I tip my hat to you. Or atleast I would if I owned a hat. ^_^

Oh, I can so picture Jou's "What?" LOL

And I loved his reaction to the things Varon said... especially that he's worried about protection (even though it's a little late for that)

I was kind of annoyed by Yugi disturbing them and bringing in this whole Raphael plot line again, but i guess it's gonna be important and also it was kind exiting at the end of the chapter, when everything got more complex...

About the flame... yeah, keep it in. It's the best thing you can do. I mean, really, how pathetic does a person have to be to write such a comment???
The flamers don't even get that their lame little reviews don't really touch anyone, because to do so, they would require some sort of objective argumentation (which those people obviously can't come up with). And, after all... flames are so much fun to read! *is amused*
