Hmmm..... You should check out the story "Burning Sea" as there are a lot of similarities that might make it look like this work isn't your own, as I have my doubts about the authenticity of this myself......

do you know there is a story called 'Burning Sea' and its awfully like the one you are writting. In Burning Sea the ship is also named the Dark Magician and Bakura, Yami and Malik(or do you mean yami marik) are the main crew mates and Yugi, Ryou and Marik(or do you mean Malik) come on board but instead of the ship sinking like in ur story, Yami is the one that attacks their ship and captures them as slaves or something like that.
