Don't listen to the jerks who are angry with you because you inserted politics into this. You exorcising your right of freedom of speech so screw them! ^_^ Don't listen to them and besides, people who give negative anonymous comments online in my belief are cowards.

I'm not all that partial to real world events mixed with Anime fanfics. I read fanfics to get away from the news not be reminded of it. It seems a good effort on your part but I think you could use a lot more description, the reactions. Try to add tags to it. Instead of "He walked out of the room in a huff" try" "Irritated beyond all reasonable limits he threw daggers at the wench with his frosty blue eyes as he stormed out of the worn motel doorway"

Well, I get the who political aspect. As a liberal and realist I absolutely believe that Bush will never be able to think or run a country on his own. Since Ryou doesn't have a major part in the anime or manga(as far as I know) it is easy to use his character for plots like this one. I like that you used him as the main character. The only thing that I didn't understand was Kaiba's role in this fic. Otherwise, good job.

very very happy that there are some people out there who even consider bringing current political arguments into a fic, let alone actually delivering the goods. thanks for doing it, and keep writing.

Oh! Please continue this! I’m not sure if this is the funniest fic I’ve ever read, or if I should curl into a ball and cry… Either way, I might just spontaneously combust if I don’t read another update soon. Update please!

Thanks for the reviews... and the flame... I didn't think about this story being controversial when I posted it, what's wrong with me? Anyway... I promised to write more if I got 5 reviews... so I am... but I am working on 3 fics at once (one isn't posted at all yet)... So I will update as quickly as possible but it might be a few days.

My dear anonymous flamer... the funny thing is... I'm actually a right-wing conservative who voted for Bush... +ducks the flaming bombs+... Yeah, I know it's fucked-up... but I've been Republican so long that I don't know how to vote anything but party-line. The second anonymous poster was my ex-husband - we actually attended the Condoleeza Rice protest that I described and we honeymooned at the Bush protest that this whole story is based around... Nashville, TN, for those of you who are curious. Ra only knows how such a liberal (makes Micheal Moore look like a fascist) and such a conservative ended up married. funny, ne? However, the fact that he is as politically active as I am gave me a whole new insider veiwpoint on the left-wing agenda, hence the compulsion to write this story.

Why are you inserting politics into Yugioh? Jesus Christ, it's idiots like you who give the rest of us liberals a bad name.
