Another great chapter! The gradual opening up of Malik as he realized he did have friends was well done. That he did open up to Ryou and Yugi was (vs the rest of the crowd) believable.

Another great chapter! I'm glad to see he's coming around to the 'gang'.
I hope you get to feeling better. I know how it feels when your husband says things like that to you. Trust me, I've heard it more than once. it's especailly bad when you have kids. If i remeber correctly you have 3 right? I have 1 myself.
But back to your story. I absolutely love your stories! You are very skilled and you are one of the few writers I look foward to! Keep up the good work so I can be entertained! lol

Great chapter update. I love the sensitivity of the characters in how they react to each other and the situation. I'm still anxious to see how the 'yamis' are gonna handle Malik's father. *throws a rabid wombat towards the evil father* hmmm.....wicked ideas forming here...lol.

Damn, 'Kura, you swear a lot. So, yeah, finally got my hikari to read this, she's been ... a little out of it, last few days. Though I'm sure I'll get to tell you all about it sometime. Anyway, this is an interesting story, as we've said, and this was a really good chapter -- I'm with you, tho, what's wrong with a little Malik torture? Torture in general can be an exciting and profitable venture. Ah well, tell Drac to keep writing, and that we at least won't be killing her, and not to have /too/ much fun locked away in that bomb shelter of hers with four hot muses. Heh... ja!

*waves various weapons including a katana* Oh don't worry, I don't plan to kill the author...yet! I'll just castrate Malik's father! *wanders off carrying Wufei's katana*
Wufei: Where's my katana?! *Ryou, and several muses eeps and inches away from the justice lunatic*

I enjoyed this chapter a great deal, and for the record my yami is currently sharpening her swords to use on Malik's father.

Yami SSF: You got that right.

I think she'll have to get in line, ne? Loved everyone's reactions to Malik's story; including Malik. You got that emotion through so vividly I was crying myself. How could anyone do that to their own son?

Ryou is SO...I don't know the word, fluffy maybe?...in this. I love it. He's so honest and true.
Bakura crying...that was a bit of a shock. Man, if Daddy sets foot in Japan, he'd better watch his ass... between three people with violent homocidal tendancies, Ryou's planning and Yugi's buried vicious streak...he's FUBAR.

If I have one little complaint, it's that Yugi is a little 2-d in this so far...but that's okay. I trust you. :)
