I'm in love. This is quite possibly the best fic with this pairing that I've read.
The way you built the story is absolutely great. It started out pretty easily but as soon as those two were alone the chemistry made itself known and every moment was absolutely fantastic, all the way to the nice, rather sweet-ish ending. The action itself was extremely hot but what made it so much better was the way you described what went on inside Bakura's head, giving him such depth. The characterization is definitely one of the strongest point in the fic, I haven't seen them portrayed so accurately before and to top that you made them seem very realistic, avoiding all the cheap cliches.
I don't know if you're really going to continue this, I'm not really sure even if you should. Naturally I'm very curious about how the story'd go on and I'd love to see more of your masterly use of the characters but on the other hand, the fic is quite perfect as it is...

Thanks very much for all your reviews ^^ Bakura and Malik are (in my opinion) the best and possibly easiest YGO pairing to work with. I guess I'll have to write more fanfics to compare though, ne? ^.~

OMG I totally love this pairing. I think that Bakura and Malik belong together and it's such a pity that there are too few. I say you should write another fic like this ... a nice LONG fic, that's what we all want to read. More Bakura and Malik action ... that'll make me a happy bunny!!!!
