So glad to see you back DDYD! I've checked these religiously, hoping you would update soon, besides constantly rereading them to keep them fresh in my head.
Another beautiful chapter, and just what Joey needed, I think. Serves Dan right . . . but I wonder who the other guy was. *ponders curiously* Ah well, I'm sure you'll tell us soon enough.
As for the mysterious group . . . my guess is the Dark Scorpion Gang. Y'know, the cards? I'm pretty sure it was them . . . fits the description rather well. If I got it right, I want a 'Kura plushie : ) *hops up and down* hope I got it right.

Mruuuh....loyal reader here, checking back again in the vain hope of the pleasure of another update.
You DO realize that when you finally manage to bring Joey, Tristan, and Otogi together, you'll be my idol, right? I've been trying desperately for months, working at fiction for them. Except for you, I haven't seen *any* authors write these three together. Tristan's my die-hard favorite character, and I love reading about him with the two boys he seems to relate to most in the series. The way you write Tristan is compelling - this could possibly BE his grown-up self, and the self-assured, smartass, and dare I say badass man he's become is beyond attractive. Mwee. Pity the thought of a woman turns his stomach. ^_~ I'll just have to settle for watching. I can't wait for the next chapter - Joey's going to be kicking ass and taking names, and you already got my blood going because they're on a *motorcycle,* headed out of Kaiba's estate.
Question: Does Tristan have his own motorcycle? And if not, why *doesn't* he? He had one in the series...and it seems like an extension of himself.
