Sorry I'm back I forgot to add in my last review that I love how real you made this story I love stories that show the world isn't always a ty pty picture and most people who do abuse their lovers or kids believe in there head it's right and that person who gets abuse still can love that person very much and I love that you added those points in your fic this is deep and really makes me feel for Jou you're a great writer ok now with that said ^_^ I'm off keep it up!

Wow...that was amazing...hit a little too closely to home, but that was a really good twist to the norm...because not everyone gets saved...and the Kaiba saves Jou bit kinda gets old...way to go, awesome story!!

wow, you're Betuana from the vampire game?...oh, you're one of the RARE ppl who sign up under me and actually continue to play. wow, glad to finally know who you are...

so, you're not going to get kaiba save jou, which way are you going? Is jou going to save himself... or is this one of those dark fics where we just see jou in his misery (not that it isn't good... sad miserable jou is always a nice read).

Oh, you put soo much emotion into this story, we can actually understand how jou feels..sob, his kitchen is under attack...sob. It's also nice how you explain where the cash comes from (for their food and stuff).

Man, can't wait for the next chapter. This fanfic is becoming one of my all time favorites (well, it already is, but it's climing the charts in my fav-bookmarked-fanfics)

wow... that was... quick. oO To be honest, I wasn't expecting another chapter so _soon_. *impressed* Damn, you're fast.

I really don't know what to say without repeating myself. ^_^ Story's still amazingly good and deep. *gives thumbs up* Although I liked the first chapter a little bit better, because it had a deeper emotional impact. But just a little bit better. *holds thumb and forefinger 3mm apart* And this chapter was sweet... in an incestuous sort of way. It's a good chapter in terms of giving a little background story and more insight into Jounouchi's psyche. Although the part where he suddenly collapses is a bit sudden. Maybe you were going for that? But I thought a few more sentences leading up to it [aka. what was going on in Jonouchi's mind while his fathes bes being overly friendly?] could have helped cushion it a bit more. Although... that's just me, so feel free to ignore it. ^^;
Aw darn... and here I go criticising your story while I love it to bits. "I criticise because I love."

Oh... and one more thing I just have to say...
You know... I could never understand it why people liked taking cold showers. I mean... it's cold... But the way you described it made more sense than in most other stories.

"It feels horrible and wonderful and like my skin is being cut in a thousand little ways all over. It perfectly sums up my own desires and I'll just stand there dazed, taking in the hurt and hopefully dismissing some of the pain I keep inside. I take a lot of showers."

Cold showers just suddenly make so much more sense to me. o_o ...wow...

I appreciate your notice. I will continue to read and possibly review this fic for the simple reason that I don't fully comprehend what is going on. It is a world that is foreign to me and thus has to be investigated. I agree with several of the other reviewers that state that this is not a normal Jou fic and give praise for originality. One thing that I can identify is the concept of a safe zone and the devastating effects of it being desecrated.

Hmm, I like how you handled this. The story's detailed description and Jou's relatively calm tone kind of make the incest more horrifying by contrast. I just can't see Jou using such a high level of diction, though; maybe this would have been better from a third-person perspective? It's well done, at any rate.

Okay, that hurt to read.

You caught the sheer...hopelessness of Jounouchi's situation so well.... I commend you. This is good.
